SPECIAL EVENTS BY TOPPER'S

Join us for some special events we have planned for the season. Plan your stay around these gatherings or if local, stop by for fun cocktails, great food and spectacular sunsets. This season holds extra special meaning as we proudly celebrate 150 years of The Wauwinet as a beloved destination on Nantucket — a milestone as timeless as the island itself.

MAY 11 : CRAFT WORKSHOP

Explore the world of Nantucket basket weaving with the Heritage Craft Workshop, led by the Nantucket Historical Association. Create your own cuff bracelet with ivory endcaps on Monday, May 11 from 10AM-12PM at The Wauwinet. Includes 2-night accommodations and breakfast for two daily in TOPPER's. 

MAY 28: WAUWINET 150 CELEBRATION "SHORE DINNER"

Celebrate 150 years of the "Wauwinet House"The evening begins with a light reception at 6:30  featuring Simon Edwards' Fifth Bend Oysters. Followed by a multi-course menu, designed by Chef Kyle Zachary. Experience a hand picked wine pairing to enhance your evening, as an optional enhancement to the celebration. 

 

JUNE 1-3 : WSET Wine Education Seminar, Level II

American Wine School is hosting the WSET Level II course at TOPPER'S this June. In person classes will be held on June 1 and 2, with final exam on June 3. All participants will register with American Wine School and then contact us to receive a special rate to stay at The Wauwinet during the course. 

Season Finale: Murder Mystery Dinner

Join the TOPPER'S team and Murder Mystery Co. for a deliciously fun evening on Friday, October 30, 2026. Celebrate our last weekend of the season with an evening of high fashion and suspenseful mystery.  All guests will be involved in this interactive dinner theater.  Festive themed attire encouraged & welcome!  We can't wait to see 'whodunnit'!  

Welcome bubbles at 6:00. Dinner and an interactive show starts at 6:30 with three-course menu created by Chef Kyle. 

3-Course menu and show at $165 per person (+tax & gratuity); optional 2-course wine pairing at $75 per person (+tax & gratuity)
